  	Will of Authilla Carns Registered May 20, 1910 Wm. A. Thompson, Register I, Authilla Carns, of Conneaut Township, Crawford County, Pennsylvania, do make and publish this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made. I will and direct that my doctor bill, funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid and the same be paid by the sale of sufficient timber trees now standing on my farm to pay the same. I give, devise, and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mary Jane, all my real estate to have and hold the same during her natural life. I give, devise and bequeath after her death all of the same, or so much as remains after the natural wear and tare and use of the same, to my children who are living at the time of my wifes death; each to share alike. I give, devise and bequeath to my beloved wife, Mary Jane, all my personal property. I hereby appoint, nominate and constitute Chas. E. Putnam, executor of this my last will and testament. I witness whereof, I Authilla Carnes, the testator, have to this my last will and testament, written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal this 27 day of March, 1908.   	cause of death: paralysis from the May 4, 1910 issue of the Linesville Herald DEATH RECORD: Authilla Carnes died April 28, 1910, at his home in Conneaut township, aged 69 years. He was born in Linesville and lived all his life in this vicinity. He came from a large family and is survived by his wife and ten children - five sons and five daughters. He was a veteran of the Civil war. All his working days was spent in some form of the lumber business, and when not teaming he was helping to cut the timber for the lumber-yard. He was employed 36 years in Mr. S. E. Bunday's business, most of that time in the mill working in most all the departments. Failing health compelled him to retire several years ago to his farm. Rev. G.B. Carr conducted the funeral services at his late home, Saturday. Interment was made in Linesville cemetery. his obituaries show that he died on April 28th; however, his Pennsylvania death certificate shows clearly the 27th of April.
