  	cause of death: stroke - cardiopulmonary arrest, severe coronary artery disease with dysfunction from the February 11, 1987 issue of the Linesville Herald: MARY A. DEWEY MEADVILLE - Mary A Dewey, 70, 1185 Elm St., died Wednesday, Feb. 4, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center (Grove Street) following a lengthy illness. Mrs. Dewey was born in Conneaut Lake Park, May 8, 1916, a daughter of William H. and Anna Chamberlain Young. She married Paul Van Dusen. He preceded her in death Aug. 22, 1949. She subsequently married Joseph Dewey Dec. 15, 1956. He survives. Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two sons, Carl R. Van Dusen, Ontario, Calif.; and William A. Van Dusen, Linesville; one daughter, Mrs. Karen Phillips, Meadville; four sisters, Mrs. Doris Carnes, Linesville; Mrs. Peter (Betty) Carnes, Cranesville; Mrs. James (Ella Mae) Carnes, Edinboro; and Mrs. Blanche Weed, Erie; two brothers, Klahre Young, Erie; and William Young, Conneautville; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Paul Young and Charles Young. Friends were received at William H. Houghton Funeral Home, Linesville, where the Rosary was recited Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Mass was celebrated Saturday at 11 a.m. at St. Philip's Roman Catholic Church with the Rev. Fr. John Lucas of Our Lady Queen of the Americas, Conneaut Lake, as celebrant. Cremation followed the Mass.
