  	cause of death: Diabetes Mellitus, cardiac enlargement from the May 7, 1963 issue of the Meadville Tribune: Mrs. Hester Denham Mrs. Hester Denham, 64, of Erie, died Sunday, May 5, 1963, at St. Vincent's Hospital, Erie. She was born at Sardinia, NY, Sept. 13, 1897, a daughter of Gene and Cutie Whittier Comstock, and married the late Andrew Denham. Survivors include a son, Charles Weaver of Erie, a brother, Orin Comstock of Linesville; a granddaughter, Carolyn Weaver of Erie, and several stepchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Thurman M. Houghton Funeral Home, Linesville, where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Silas B. Acklin, pastor of Linesville Baptist Church, officiating. Interment will be at Linesville Cemetery.

  from the December 7, 1933 issue of the Linesville Herald: Mrs. Hester Weaver, who was taken to Spencer hospital last week, underwent an operation Thursday in which her left eye was removed. In the eyeball was found a 22 caliber bullet. The cartridge had exploded when it was mixed among debris which she was throwing into her stove. Reports from the hospital are that she is getting along very well but has lost the sight of one eye.
