    • Alice of Normandy (also known as Adelaide de Normandy) was born about 1002 to Richard II of Normandy and Judith de Rennes. She became the Countess Consort of Burgundy when she married Reginald I of Burgundy in 1016.

      She and Reginald had five children: William I (our line), Guy, Hugh, Falcon and Alberada. Alice died in Bourgogne, France in 1038 - her place of burial is unknown.

      Reginald I (also known as Renaud I) was born in 986, the son of Otto-William of Burgundy and Ermentrude de Roucy. He was the second Count of the Free County of Burgundy.

      Reginald died September 4, 1057 and is buried at the Cathédrale Saint-Jean de Besançon, Besancon, Departement du Doubs, Franche-Comté, France.
