    • Barbara Ellen Bacon, 75, of Conneautville, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2018, at Rolling Fields.

      Born May 1, 1942, in Meadville, she was the daughter of Donald and Dorothy Young Kneubehl. She married William Bacon on May 6, 1961.

      She attended Saegertown High School and Edinboro University. Barbara was of the Protestant faith.

      After 27 years, she retired from Twin Creeks Head Start as the head teacher.

      Barbara enjoyed needlework, crocheting, cross stitching, doing crossword puzzles, cooking and baking. She cherished her grandchildren.

      Survivors include her loving husband of 56 years, William Bacon; a son, Jerry Bacon and his wife, Michelle, of Conneautville; a daughter, Brenda Miller and her companion, Shawn Boyce, of Conneautville; two grandchildren, Christine Miller and Kaitlyn Bacon; two great-grandchildren, Vanesia Nobles and Matthew's son, Colden Watson; two sisters, Norma Fogle of Meadville and Carol Koren of Meadville; two brothers, Gary Kneubehl of Meadville and George Kneubehl of Saegertown; and many nieces and nephews.

      She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Matthew Miller; sister, Diane Beuchat; and two brothers, Jim and Vern Kneubehl.

      Calling hours will be Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. at ROYAL-COLEMAN FUNERAL HOME, 6028 U.S. HIGHWAY 6, LINESVILLE.

      A funeral service will follow the calling at 2 p.m. with Pastor Philip Torre of the First Assembly of God Church in Meadville officiating.

      Burial will be in Linesville Cemetery.
