CHARLES A. CARNES
Charles A. Carnes, age 81, 130 East Erie St., Linesville, died Friday, March 19, 1976, at Meadville Spencer Hospital after an illness of three months. He had been in failing health for several years.
He was born Dec. 3, 1894, in Linesville, the son of Luther Carnes and Mary Elizabeth MacCay Carnes. He was self-employed as a carpenter.
He is survived by a sisters, Mrs. Margaret Ford, Burton, Ohio, and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Sunday at 2 p.m. from the Thurman M. Houghton Funeral Home with Rev. Gary Larson, pastor of Linesville United Presbyterian Church, officiating. Interment was at Linesville Cemetery.
