Lebar 2 1858 Pennsylvania Died 12 Oct 1885 Monroe, Jasper County, Iowa, USA - from the June 11, 1886 issue of the Conneautville Courier:
A subscriber at Fairmount, Iowa, writes to call our attention to the fact that no announcement has appeared in the COURIER of the death of Mrs. Sally Labar, a former resident of Conneaut township, this county, which occurred at her home in Monroe, Iowa, Oct. 12th, 1885, aged 78 years, 7 months and 14 days. She went to bed apparently in her usual health and was found dead in the morning. Deceased came with her husband to Conneaut township about fifty years ago; was left a widow in 1858 and removed to Iowa in 1870. Seven children survive her, of whom Mrs. Wm. Holcomb and Geo. Labar reside in Western Crawford, and the others in the West. Winchester Snyder and the late Silas Snyder, of Conneaut, were her brothers and Mrs. Casper Baldwin, of the same township, a sister.
