      Edward A. Codney
      Edward A. Codney, 64, 936 W. 6th St., Erie, died at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 2, 1960, at Hamot Hospital, Erie, following a long illness.
      He was born in Linesville, March 1, 1896, a son of William W. and Nancy Isabella Decker Codney.
      Mr. Codney was a retired employe of Dodds Bros. Motor Co., Detroit. He also had worked with Pennsylvania Department of Public Assistance in Crawford County and with the county draft board.
      He was a member of Linesville Universalist Church and Linesville Grange.
      Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Smith and Mrs. Valania Ruffner, both of Cleveland, and a brother, Paul, of Cleveland.
      Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Houghton Funeral Home, Linesville. The Rev. Edward Donner, pastor of Linesville Methodist Church, will officiate. Interment will be at Linesville Cemetery.
