Thomas F. Collins III
Thomas F. Collins III, 47, 223 Jefferson St., Linesville, died Wednesday, Dec. 16, 1987, at Meadville Medical Center (Liberty Street) following a sudden illness.
Mr. Collins was born in Meadville April 10, 1940, a son of Thomas F. and Marguerite Robertson Collins Jr. He married Barbara Lawrence June 26, 1965. She survives.
He was employed by Molded Fiber Glass Tray Co., Linesville, for 20 years. He was a Linesville Borough councilman from 1974-77. He was a member of Pine Masonic Lodge 498, Linesville, a member of the board of trustees of the lodge. He was a U.S. Navy veteran and an avid hunter and sportsman.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Kimberly S. Collins and Chelsy J. Collins, both at home; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas F. (Marguerite) Collins Jr., North Ft. Myers, Fla.; and one sister, Mrs. Thomas (Beatrice) Levenhagen, Dimondale, Mich.
Friends may call Friday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at William H. Houghton Funeral Home, Linesville, where Masonic services will be held Friday at 7:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. James Mehler of Linesville United Presbyterian Church officiating. Interment will be at Linesville Cemetery. The family suggests memorials be made to Thomas F. Collins III Memorial Heart Fund, Box 657, Linesville, 16424.
